In this talk, Michael Lewis, Curator of the British Museum’s Bayeux Tapestry exhibition, will explore the influence of Anglo-Saxon manuscript art on the Tapestry’s design. He will highlight key models for the Tapestry’s imagery and reflect on their importance for understanding the embroidery.
