Dr Helen Lunnon

Having read for a BA in History at the University of Reading and an MA in Museum Studies at UCL my first career path took me from museum curatorship to heritage management, before returning to academia. In 2008 I gained an MA in Medieval History with Distinction from UEA, and my first encounter with the British Archaeological Association came when a version of my Dissertation was published in the Association’s Journal. I have recently completed a PhD in the School of World Art Studies at UEA titled: ‘Making an Entrance: Medieval Church Porches in East Anglia’. I co-convened the BAA annual conference in Norwich which was held in July 2012, and was appointed as Study Day Officer in September.
