The British Archaeological Association, The Ancient Monuments Society and The Courtauld Institute of Art are organising a one-day seminar in celebration of the work of Dr Richard K. Morris (1943-2015) on

Medieval Art, Architecture and Archaeology

Papers will be on subjects related to the wide-ranging interests of Richard K. Morris, a former Council member of the BAA and editor of the Transactions of the Ancient Monuments Society. These included, but were by no means limited to, methodological approaches to the study of medieval architecture, buildings archaeology, stylistic analysis, the study of mouldings or masons marks as analytical tools, commemorative art and architecture, West Country buildings, the Decorated style, the recording and interpretation of architectural fragments and lapidary collections.
