Julian Luxford

Julian Luxford, who is Australian, lives in Fife. Currently, he is a Professor of Art History at the University of St Andrews, where he has worked since 2004. He is interested in various aspects of medieval art and architecture, including book-history, and has published many essays and reviews in these areas. A book of his PhD thesis was published by Boydell & Brewer in 2005 and he has edited eight essay-collections. From 2008-2014 he edited the Journal of the British Archaeological Association and convened, with Jeremy Ashbee, the Association’s summer conference at Newcastle upon Tyne in 2010.
