John has been the Treasurer of the BAA since 2005. His background is in economics and accountancy and held several senior management posts at Royal Mail including managing International Services and Corporate Planning. He has studied for History of Art diploma in the past and now travels widely to pursue an interest in Romanesque and earlier art and buildings.
John is also Treasurer of ULEMHAS, the Birkbeck Alumni History of Art Society. He lives in the Cotswolds and makes fine furniture.
